headspace helps young people aged 12-25 years who are going through a tough time.
They assist young people and their families with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and education and employment support.

Services at headspace centre are either free, or have a low cost.  You can ask if there is a cost when you make an appointment.  Some services require you to have a referral from a doctor.  But don't worry: headspace can help you with this as well.

KYDS Youth Development Service Inc is a not-for-profit and non-government organisation.  KYDS provides FREE and confidential counselling on an individual basis for 12-18 year old young people living in Northern Sydney.  They also provide free counselling and support for parents as well as family counselling, where the young person and his/her counsellor feel this to be appropriate.

Bright Beginnings Program

Bright Beginnings is a FREE service for low income families who are not able to access similar services due to financial issues.  

Bright Beginnings is a program that will help children begin to understand some of their worries and concerns.  

Through the Bright Beginnings program, children and their families can discover new ways to manage these issues.

Bright Beginnings is designed to work with the family and caregivers to assist them in providing better support to the child.

Suitable for children who may be feeling - worried, bullied, sad, angry, scared, confused or uncomfortable with change.
