MEGT Australian Apprenticeships Centre

MEGT Australian Apprenticeships Centre is contracted by the Australian Government to assist you and your employer to set up your apprenticeship or traineeship.  Also provides ongoing support and assistance throughout your qualification.

are a national, not for profit organisation who specialise in making apprenticeships and traineeships happen. A Traineeship is a way in which you can combine full time employment with on-the-job training in order to gain a nationally recognised qualification.

You are actually PAID TO LEARN new skills! MEGT are excited to announce that in partnership with Warringah Council, 18 Traineeship positions will be available for commencement in February 2015. The traineeships will cover a number of areas including Childcare, Event Management, Sports and Recreation and Customer Service as well as 9 Business Traineeships covering Human Resources, Library Services, Community Services, Children’s Services and Procurement, just to mention a few.

Applications will open for these positions shortly and they will be advertised in the Manly Daily,, Warringah., and  Interviews will not commence until after HSC exams have been completed.  If you are interested in finding out more about these positions or if you would like to find out more about Traineeships or Trade Apprenticeships please don’t hesitate to contact MEGT.

2 Realise - Industry Bites

Industry Bites is a program developed by 2 Realise to help young people, teachers, principals and careers advisers to experience and better understand career options by providing a real-life, meaningful experience in the workplace through an industry visit concept.  The program involves a 2 hour visit to a specific company where students are able to learn about the industry including the variety of jobs available, different career pathways including study options, a tour of the facilities along with personal stories from staff about their career journeys.  The goal of the program is to inspire students to reach their full potential by showing them a wide variety of career pathways on offer.
